5D Clinics Foundations

Global Civil and Mining have proudly donated $110,000 to 5D Clinics Foundation, an independent charity established to provide support to patients and their families so they can access world-class cancer treatments.

A cancer diagnosis is a very stressful time for the patient, their family and friends, treatments can often come at a cost outside the reach of many families, adding to the strain.

The 5D Clinics Foundation has been set up to ensure patients who require immediate treatment are able to receive it efficiently and with the dignity they deserve. 5D Clinics Foundation can assist patients with funding for all stages of the cancer treatment journey; from consultations, personalised planning, scans, blood tests, CyberKnife treatment, travel and accommodation, other recommended treatments and follow-up care. The targeted nature of the support offered by the Foundation has a direct and profound impact on patients and their families.

5D Clinics is home to Australia’s only private CyberKnife facility and the country’s first dedicated cranial and body stereotactic radiation therapy treatment centre. Clinically proven and non-invasive, the CyberKnife System uses state-of-the-art robotic technology combined with real-time image guidance to deliver precisely targeted radiation to cancerous and non-cancerous tumours almost anywhere in the body. CyberKnife has helped thousands of people around the world, and the team at 5D Clinics are expert Radiation Oncologists, Radiation Therapists and Medical Physicists committed to providing the best possible patient care.
