Global Civil and Mining successfully completed works on the Tiger Brennan Drive Duplication Project in Darwin, Northern Territory. This Project involved the creation of new road cuttings along the existing Tiger Brennan Drive from Woolner through to Berrimah Road, for placement of new dual-carriageway pavement.

Surface Mining was selected due to the close proximity to the existing road & housing, with a requirement to maintain traffic access and provide minimal disruption to the surrounding development during the project’s duration. With GCM’s Surface Mining equipment there is no need for disruptive blasting, and the produced material is suitable for use immediately as fill, no further processing required.

Once again, Global Civil and Mining have proven the flexibility and suitability of Surface Mining to this type of civil project.
